I plan to use the Audacity recording software. I have never done an audio recording for class and would like to try something new. I seems very easy and straight-forward to use. I think the listeners will get the most out of my narrative this way as well. Being able to hear the story from me and the way I tell it: my tones, pauses, little idiosyncrasies of my speech, will amplify the narrative so the reader gets the full power of the piece of writing.
It sounds like a good plan, Jason. You might also consider adding sound effects. If you have any trouble, don’t forget that digital literacy consultants are available in the DigiSpace http://uneportfolio.org/.
