The way I use my phone on a day to day basis is for constant updates and communication. I wake up in the morning, shut my alarm off, and look to see if I have any pressing notifications that need addressing. These could include a text from my mom or dad and a coach; anything that I need to take care of right then. Then I put it away for a while while I am in classes but will give it a check sometime in the morning to look at emails, my bank account, and any other notifications that might have come up. I may text someone good morning when I think of it, but in the mornings I try not to use it a lot. At lunch I will use it to look at my Instagram and other social media to see whats new, I will text friends if I have not responded yet, or check my email again. I put it away again for the rest of my classes and will check it one more time before practice to relax a little and watch videos and get my mind unwound from classes before practice. After practice I use it to kill time while I am in the ice bath then go on social media and text people to catch up on what I missed during practice. For the rest of the evening its used to talk to people I have not had to the chance to during the day and play music while I do homework or get ready for the next day. The last thing I do is set my alarm with it for the next day, plug it in to charge and I am done using it for the day. In a nutshell, I use my phone to stay up to date and in touch with people and tasks I need to take care of and to have a little fun when I have a chance to unwind from my daily tasks.
